VMWARE ESXI 6.7 U1 UPDATE UPDATE
They only just now are I guess at a compatible level for Update 2. Just this morning I was on the Dell site and it looks like they have lots of updates for the PowerEdge R630 for VMware 6.7 but still no official ESXI ISO for Update 3. It ook VMware support a long time to figure out what was wrong but eventually we realized the incompatible VIB and removed it from all hosts and everything works perfectly. After upgrading to ESXI 6.7 Update 3, we had lots of weird issues, especially with vMotions just timing out almost immediately. I had I guess an older version of the OpenManage VIB on each host. I had the same issue with my VMware cluster. Until I hear back, one way or the other, I cannot say my issues are similar to the reported issues. I am trying now to find out if my issues are similar to the issues generally being reported to VMware GSS. All running VMs seem normal and are responsive. The slowness, in my case, has manifested itself in the following ways (rough timings): 15 minutes to put a host into or take it out of maintenance mode vMotions taking almost an hour to change just the compute resource timeouts logging into a server's local UI virtual machine power-ons and power-offs taking 15 minutes. Two more hosts followed that next weekend.

I did upgrade my vCSA to U3 the day it was released, along with one ESXi host. On a personal note, I am experiencing "slowness" issues in my lab over the past week or so and have been pulling my hair out trying to diagnose why. Multiple reports from GSS are identifying issues with vSAN, vMotion, and general slowness (communication) from both vCenter and ESXi.Ĭustomers are advised to hold/pause upgrading their environments to 6.7 U3 until further investigation is done.
