When you want to play Tribunal, simply activate it (but I wouldn't recommend Tribunal to inexperienced players, although technically you could play it at level 1). Once you have more experience with the game, you can understand better what the plug-in's do and decide which ones to use (if at all). The Master Index plug-in + Journalfix are nice, but not necessary to enjoy the game, if you are looking for a rich role-playing experience.
You could consider simply deactivating Tribunal, and playing the base game as it is. I have never used any graphics mods, so I can't comment on them. This has always been good enough for me and my personal playstyle (I do play a heavily modded version of Oblivion, because the base version alone demotivates me too much, but that's a different story).

The only plug-in's I use myself are Master Index + Journalfix (interesting quests + a convenient travel method) and the Tribunal Delay mod (complete main quest version) which I simply deactivate if / when I want to play Tribunal. Please be aware that you get attacked by these assassins regularly, until you start the Tribunal questline (unless you deactivate them).

It only updates the patch file itself, and requires the assets from 1.6.5b. This beta was previously available from SendSpace, but is now only available at The Assimilation Lab. Quorn briefly returned to work on the patch, incorporating solutions for some of the remaining bug complaints into a new beta. Now all that you need to do is to open Morrowind's launcher, click on the Data Files button, and ensure that Morrowind Patch v1.6.6_beta.esm is checked. Once you have extracted the download, you will need to copy over all of the files into your Data Files folder. 1.6.6 replaces previous versions entirely. Like the previous beta, it only updates the patch file itself, and requires the assets from 1.6.5b.Įdit: You no longer need the previous version to make it work. Quorn once again returned to work on the patch, fixing most of the outstanding issues from the previous beta. To patch Morrowind without the expansion you need version 1.2.2b of the MPP. All of these patches are for games including both Bloodmoon and Tribunal expansions. The goal of this patch is to make the game completely bug-free (within the abilities of TESCS). While the official patches by Bethesda only fixed a couple of dozen bugs, this patch fixes several hundred. The Morrowind Patch Project (MPP), formerly known as the Unofficial Morrowind Patch (UMP) by Thepal and Quorn fixes almost all of the bugs and problems with Morrowind and its expansions.
